Visit Us

The Wellspring can be a something of a challenge to find the first time round - it is a retreat after all!

By Car: if you use Google Maps as your SatNav, the easiest way to find us is to click on the Directions link in the map in this section, and that should bring you straight to the property. Alternatively you can visit our Google Page, click on Directions, and that too should bring you straight to us.

If for any reason Google doesn't work for you, we'd recommend using the free what3words app. Simply enter our location (///nightcap.chum.rails) in the search box, click 'navigate', choose your preferred SatNav system, and the route should appear in the app.

Other SatNavs/Apple Maps will usually only bring you as far as the turnoff from the A417 at HR8 2JG. So, if you prefer the old school method of navigation, directions are as follows:
  1. Follow the road up from the A417 turnoff.
  2. Drive past Parkway village hall and Woolpits Cottage on your left until you come to a sharp bend round to the right.
  3. Continue up and follow the bend round to the left.
  4. Continue up and over the rise then down and round the left bend until you come to a fork.
  5. Go straight on (not right!) and you should see a green sign for 'Woolpits Farm' down on your right hand side.
  6. Follow the road around the back of the farmhouse, then turn right at the end of the house.
By Train: travel to Ledbury station which is only a 10 minute cab ride away from The Wellspring. 

By Bus: unfortunately, there are no bus routes/stops near enough to The Wellspring to not incur a lengthy walk.

Parking: there is currently parking space available for up to 15 cars in front of the barns. Access to the House is via the black gate, leading on to the Terrace and then through the square porch to the Kitchen.
