Standing With The Wellspring
Friends of The Wellspring are people who believe in the vision and ministry of The Wellspring and want to stand with us as it continues to grow and develop.
As a small retreat house, we value the opportunity to know our Friends personally and to share more closely in the life of the ministry together. Friendship, for us, is about more than financial support — it is about relationship, prayer, encouragement and a shared desire to see The Wellspring remain a place where people can encounter Jesus, find rest and experience renewal.
Through regular giving, Friends help us sustain and develop this ministry, while also becoming part of a growing community gathered around its life and calling.
What do Friends support?
Regular Friends giving supports the overall ministry of The Wellspring, rather than normally being restricted to individual projects.

It helps enable The Wellspring to:

Offer opportunities for rest, retreat and spiritual renewal;

Host Quiet Days, retreats and other Christian events;

Welcome churches, ministries and Christian organisations;

This means your support can be used wherever it is most needed, helping us respond to the changing needs and opportunities of the ministry.
What we offer Friends...
Friends of The Wellspring is more than simply financial giving, it's also about fostering community around a group of people who believe in and support the kind of ministry and services we offer.
It's also an opportunity for us to give something back to you. Here's what you can expect to receive as a Friend of The Wellspring:

Friends Members Area — dedicated password-protected area of the website;

Friends Events — invitation to 5-6 Friends gatherings each year, including our annual Friends Days;

Updates — a half-yearly Friends update;

Opportunities — opportunities for Friends to support the ministry through prayer and volunteering.

As a small retreat house, we have the opportunity to build a closer and more personal relationship with our Friends than is often possible in larger organisations.
We therefore plan to hold around 5–6 Friends gatherings each year, creating regular opportunities to spend time together, worship, pray, share meals and stay connected with the life of The Wellspring.

The minimum gift of £5 per month helps us cover the cost of providing these gatherings. Any giving above this amount goes toward supporting the wider life and ministry of The Wellspring.

Friends of The Wellspring is a community of people who share our heart for the ministry and want to help sustain its ongoing work. Through regular giving, Friends help us continue to provide a place where people can encounter Jesus, find rest and experience renewal.
Friends support The Wellspring with a regular gift starting from £5 a month. You are welcome to give more if you wish, but there are no different levels of membership — every Friend is equally valued, whatever they choose to give.
Being a Friend is about becoming more closely connected with the life and ministry of The Wellspring. You'll receive Friends updates and prayer news, invitations to our special Friends Days, and opportunities to hear more about what is happening and our plans for the future.
Absolutely. If you already give regularly to The Wellspring, we'd be delighted for you to become a Friend. You don't need to increase your giving — we'll simply help you connect your existing regular gift with your Friends membership.
No. We hope you'll enjoy being part of the Friends community for many years, but you are free to change or stop your regular gift at any time. If your regular giving comes to an end, your Friends membership will also come to an end — and you'll always be very welcome to join again in the future.
