Venue Hire
As well as organising and hosting our own events at The Wellspring, we also hire out our spaces to church, para-church, or other Christian groups, of up to 25.
Subject to availability, bookings may include hire of the Chapel, and/or the Meeting Room and/or the Cottage - see the Spaces section below for further details.
Depending on requirements, guests may also be invited to use certain areas of the main house, such as the dining room or lounge. Guests are not allowed to use the kitchen as we don't allow any form of self-catering except in the Cottage.
In addition to the use of our spaces, we can also provide a number of catering options, plus additional facilities such as tables, a whiteboard and flip chart, an electric keyboard with amp, a TV monitor, etc.
All Venue Hire includes free parking and WiFi.
As requirements will vary with each hire, we will usually provide a cost estimate once we have clearly established your requirements.

Our Spaces
The Chapel
The Chapel is our main space, providing room for up to 30 guests if all are seated using a teaching layout - without catering. The maximum we can cater for is 25. The Chapel is ideal for a range of activities including prayer and worship, teaching and ministry, and creative arts workshops and seminars. The Chapel is situated in the old converted barn adjoining the main house, directly above the cottage, and beside the Meeting Room. It is accessible from the kitchen, up a flight of 11 stairs.
The Meeting Room
The Meeting Room can be used as a more informal space for up to 15 guests - depending on the layout. Furnished with soft seating, this space lends itself to more quiet activities, such as prayer ministry and counselling; it is being used increasingly in this capacity, in close proximity to the Chapel. The Meeting Room is situated in the old converted barn, directly above the kitchen, and beside the Meeting Room. It is accessible from the kitchen, up a flight of 11 stairs.
The Cottage
When not occupied by our overnight guests, the Cottage can also be hired for daytime and/or evening use. It has its own bathroom/toilet as well as a fully-equipped kitchen. The lounge area can comfortably seat up to 5 and is ideal for more quiet activities, such as prayer ministry and counselling, as well as retreats, prayer meetings, bible studies, devotionals or book clubs. The Cottage is situated in the old converted barn beneath the Chapel
Venue Hire - Our Ethos
With venue hire, our focus is on working closely with the lead contact to establish the requirement, then ensuring that the hired spaces are ready and prepared for our visitors on the day.
Understandably, we are more hands-off then we would be with one of our events but we will always pray for our visitors before and during their visit and seek to maintain a consistent level of care and hospitality throughout their time at The Wellspring.
