About Your Event Leader

Lis’ own father died when she was a young child, and her mother died suddenly and unexpectedly over a decade ago.

She is a trained solicitor turned life coach, an accredited Primary HealthCare chaplain and is training as a Reflective Walking Practitioner. She has her own coaching and training business focussing on bereavement and grief and also works part-time at a Tewkesbury GP practice as a Chaplain and Health and Wellbeing Coach.

Much of Lis' focus is with those who are facing death or bereavement. She volunteers weekly at the Side by Side Bereavement Café and is exploring setting up a regular Grief walking group. Until last year she volunteered weekly on the Winston's Wish helpline (now part of Child Bereavement UK), a childhood bereavement charity.
