At The Wellspring, we long to be a place where people encounter God, grow in faith, and share His love with the world.
Each year we host a rich programme of events — retreats, quiet days, prayer gatherings, creative arts, Bible teaching, and ministry days.
We also offer venue hire for churches and Christian groups, and Wellspring Cottage — a peaceful self-catering space for rest, reflection, or small group use.

Welcome to The Wellspring!
Events
We hold around 20 events at The Wellspring each year.
We offer quiet days and retreats, teaching and ministry, creative arts and crafts workshops, and prayer and worship gatherings.
Events are typically held on a Friday or Saturday, will run from 10am to 4pm, and include lunch, drinks throughout the day, and afternoon cake.
We will typically host between 10 and 20 guests at our events, depending on the event type, space requirements and layout.
We offer a fixed price at our events, as a means of subsidising those who may not afford the standard price of certain events.
Upcoming Events
Venue Hire
We hire out our spaces to churches and other Christian groups, for activities such as leadership away days, group retreats, bible studies, life groups, workshops, seminars, and more - all within the tranquil surroundings of the Herefordshire countryside.
We can host groups of up to around 25, depending on requirements. We offer a range of catering options as well as equipment hire - projector/screen, TV screen, keyboard/amp, whiteboard/flip chart.
Subject to availability, a venue hire booking will typically include use of one or more of our three main indoor spaces - the Chapel, the Meeting Room, and the Cottage.
And in addition to the terrace and garden areas, venue hire guests will usually be invited to use the ground floor of the main house, including the dining room and lounge areas.

The Cottage
Wellspring Cottage is a Christian-run private, self-catering, retreat space; part of the converted barn, adjoining Woolpits Farmhouse.
Surrounded by rolling Herefordshire countryside, this sanctuary of solitude is sufficiently set apart from the rest of the world and is perfect for those seeking much-needed rest, tranquility, and the presence of God.
